    It's as if the author had a sudden epiphany on how to make some money and thought,"Hmmm...I live in Paris and I've got some low-quality photos of my daughter wearing second-hand clothes. Oh! and I'll throw in some of my line doodles and sell it to American women for $15 ($25 for paperback). I'll make a fortune!" This book is a mess.

    After deciding whether or not to get this book for 3 entire years, I finally took the plunge. Adorable and whimsical. Yes, it reads more like a fashionable woman’s guide to Paris than how to embody the Parisian “essence”, but how can you expect to become Parisian without getting to know the place? I admit that much of the advice is simple, or just Ines’ opinion (and she doesn’t claim or insinuate to have a monopoly on “chic”) — but it’s like reading an account by someone you’d love to have as a friend. She’s very down-to-earth and warm. A cute book that I’ll dip into every now and then. Advice that I’ll pick and choose from. The illustrations were a treat.

    Equal parts fashion and beauty guide for the wannabe ever-chic Parisienne and helpful guide to the citie's best spots to eat, sleep, and explore, Parosian Chic is the absolute perfect book to buy for any girl who dreams of a glamorous yet functional life in always enchanting Paris. Hats off to any girl who has enough wisdom to write a book filled with so many precious nuggets of information. A must-have and a complete pleasure to read. All in all, a resounding, charming success.

    I read it in a night. Mostly a fashionable version of lonely planet guide of Paris. If you don't plan on going there, it has a few cute tips on the general Parisian girl mindset but then 50% tips on where to go to buy it in Paris. As I don't really care to visit Paris soon, I kinda feel that this book was a frivolous purchase.
