  • One of my favourite books ever

    Gives a really interesting background to the Spartans, and makes the halo games much more interesting from a story standpoint. 100% recommend if you enjoyed the halo 1-3 story arc

    This book is great! You should definitely read it as well as the comic book versions! (It's split into 3 comic books.) Although it definitely comes into conflict with the video game (Halo: Reach) cause if Noble Six and Jorge destroyed the Covenant supercarrier then wouldn't the UNSC already know that the Covenant had found Reach? Ah well, still an awesome book!!!

    I started reading this book because a friend suggested it. I've played the games and watched the movies but never have I read the books. When I bought this I was honestly thinking it was gonna be terrible because I absolutely hate reading, but the prologue got me hooked. Within a day I had read 10 chapters. This book is amazing for people who love halo and for those who don't...

    Interesting fact: this book came out before Halo:CE. So if you're worried because it's based off a video game, well, it's not. It's a great book. Fantastic sci-fi with an awesome plot. I consider it a must-read, even if you're not into Halo.

    This is the first Halo novel I have read and I've got to say, it was amazing to read! I normally don't enjoy reading books, but with this one, I did. I have played all of the Halo games, so it was pretty cool to get some more in depth action and even fill in some of the holes in the storyline from the games. I would definitely recommend reading this book.
